About Us
THE GRACE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
MISSION STATEMENT
It is the purpose of this Church to teach the Word of God, through Preaching, Teaching, and Living as God has directed. We teach God’s Word through Sunday School, Bible Workshops, Mid-Week Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and across the Pulpit.
Our desire is to learn to live and help others as directed by the Word of God. The Church is not a place to escape reality but is a place where God teaches us and equips us to use the essential gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit to strengthen our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We also desire to help our community grow in Grace. Our aims are to seek and help the lost, feed and clothe the hungry and poor, and provide others with skills needed to survive in this world.
Our main objective is to embrace the broken and downtrodden and restore in them a sense of purpose and esteem; to teach men Godly responsibilities as husbands, fathers, employees, and neighbors; to teach women to respect themselves, become self-sufficient, and to be Godly wives and mothers, lovingly caring for their family and home; and teach our children and teens to love and reverence God, honor their parents, and how to resist peer pressure and make wise decisions.
We are a Church of family dependency, where you will not just hear about love alone but will actually witness and feel, as well as participate in, that family spirit.
Grace Missionary Baptist Church is led by two precepts:
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25); and
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
By keeping in line with God’s Word, which teaches us how to live, we glorify God and become pleasing in His sight.
We extend a welcome arm for all to come. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20) Won’t you let him in…
We welcome you, one and all, in Jesus’ Name,
